OfficeTribe launch

The OfficeTribe brunch launch was a taster of things to come for our existing and future members alike!

We wanted to create an internal network and partner with local businesses to offer support for our members. A panel of local businesses who talked to us about their views of coworking and its benefits and gave an insight into future social networking events.

Emma Geoffrey’s AKA Action Woman, business and life coach, highlighted how being in a space with others can not only stop loneliness but validify your work and dispel doubt by giving you a space to chat through your ideas.

Jack Sales of TN accountancy drew attention to the financial benefits of taking a space in a coworking environment, while Bob Vale at Coding Tank talked through some Microsoft 365 quirks that might benefit our members.

Gemma Lloyd the Social Mum gave her opinion on different social media platforms to boost business and how being part of a collective group can really help promote that side of a small business.

Elizabeth Barrett CEO and Founder of EB&Co creative consultancy gave us a rundown of how important branding was for a startup and some great tips on what to focus on.

Caroline Kyriazis Founder of Twelve Communications was inspired by our space and how important a visual environment is to promote good work and creativity.

Cecile of ‘Linkedin with Cecile’ gave a snippet of her invaluable teachings and how coworking can provide an everyday opportunity to generate leads and network.

Polly Buck VA was on hand to offer tips on working remotely and tools to effectively do that, working with teams scattered all over the country.

OfficeTribe has partnered with Wellness HQ, another new and inspirational brand to help offer members a better work-life balance and bring some wellness into their workdays. Georga Cottle was on hand to explain what this is and how it will benefit our members — and as a little taster, we had the wonderful Carly from Bliss Massage to give everyone a head and shoulder massage!

There was great support from lots of local businesses including wonderful food provided by Hotel du Vin.
