A beacon of light on this gloomy Tuesday. So great to see the local Tunbridge Wells regeneration project starting to take shape.

A tantalizing side view of the Amelia Scott building, set to open in Spring 2022 — it will house a range of arts, heritage, culture and well-being services.

This conversion will create a four-storey building packed with galleries, various collections, a cafe that spills out into a courtyard and a state-of-the-art archive and research centre. There will be interactive mechanics and an amazing antique pram with little horses which will move on a travelator in the huge glass atrium which will be seen from passers-by in Monson Road.

The hundreds of treasures currently in the basement which have never been seen by the public will now be shared with the people of Tunbridge Wells and beyond. Exciting!
